This Privacy Policy explains how Cuppa Quiz ("we", "us") processes personal data when you visit https://cuppa-quiz.pages.dev. We follow the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process and why

Quiz answers

We never ask for your name, email or account to take a quiz. Your answers are saved only in your own browser (sessionStorage) so the quiz can work page by page. They are not sent to us and are deleted when you close the tab.

Technical data

Like any website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Inc., through Cloudflare Pages) automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a safe, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Advertising

We show ads through Google AdSense, provided by Google Ireland Limited. If you agree in our consent banner, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to show you personalized ads and to measure them. If you do not agree, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads, which use cookies only for purposes such as frequency capping, fraud prevention and aggregated reporting, as permitted by law. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the "Privacy settings" link in the footer. Affiliate links

Some product links go to Amazon and other stores through affiliate programs. We do not share any of your data with them. If you click a link, the store's own privacy and cookie policies apply on its website, and it may record that you came from us so we can earn a commission.

Analytics

We currently do not use any analytics or tracking tools. If we add one in the future, it will only run with your consent and we will update this policy first.

Emails you send us

If you contact us by email, we use your address and message only to reply. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in answering it. We keep these emails for as long as needed to handle your request, and then for up to 12 months.

3. Who receives your data

We do not sell your data. It may be processed by our service providers (hosting, advertising) acting on our behalf or as independent controllers. Some of them, such as Google and Cloudflare, may transfer data outside the European Economic Area; these transfers rely on safeguards like the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given. Write to [CONTACT EMAIL]. 5. Children

This site is not intended for children under 14. Under Spanish law, people under 14 cannot give consent to the processing of their personal data themselves.
